Objective： To find a solution of reporting server, to provide a relatively independent reporting and data querying service, with ensuring of high performance of hospital information system. Methods： The primary server and the secondary server in a log shipping configuration were set up.The hospital information system was programmed to use the secondary server for reporting and data querying.Results： The application of reporting server with log shipping technology provides a reporting and data querying service with ensuring of high performance of hospital information system.h plays an important role in medical services.
