Abstract: | A 58-year-old woman with active rheumatoid arthritis developed an esophago-bronchial fistula in close temporal proximity to the eruption of subcutaneous nodules and a worsening of her joint symptoms. Possible mechanisms to explain the fistula formation are discussed. |
