| Abstract: | Seropositive cotton rats cannot be immunized by intramuscular inoculation of live respiratory syncytial virus. Passively administered antiserum was shown to effect the immunosuppression. By contrast, the presence of serum antibody did not block immunization by the intranasal route. |
