Abstract:Allogeneic and-malaria immune RNA (iRNA) was extracted by hot phenol procedure from the spleens of mice infected with Plasmodium yoelii. By the assay of 3H-leucine labelled leucocyte adherence inhibition (LAI), it was observed that allogeneic iRNA, but not normal RNA derived from uninfected mice, significantly inhibited the adherence of splenic cells of BALB/c mice (P<0.01) in the existence of P. yoelii antigen. The result suggested that allogeneic iRNA was able to transfer cellular immunity to rodent malaria in vitro.
