| Abstract: | Hematoporphyrin with structure of the tetrapyrrole ring is prepared from erythrocyte. Hematorphyrin combinded with potassium in glacial acetic acid. These compounds are usually water insoluble. However, they can be eassily converted into water soluble sodium salts in 0.1N NaOH. The results of elemental analysis and IR spectra of this complex conformed with the data. |
