老年人癫痫发作的临床分析

目的 探讨老年人癫痫发作的临床特点，以期为临床诊治提供帮助。方法 回顾分析因癫痫发作而住院的187例中33例首发年龄在60岁以上的老年病人。结果 60岁以上首次癫痫发作的33例占同期癫痫发作而住院的187例的17．65％，男性多于女性，脑血管病为主要原因，脑血管病2周内继发癫痫发作13例，发作次数1－3次，仅4例需用抗癫痫药，2周后继发癫痫发作15例，发作较频，全部需服抗癫痫药。发作形式以部分性发作为主（57．58％），头颅CT或MRI检查发现病灶在皮层的发生率最高（54．55％）。结论 老年癫痫发作有其自身特点。

Clinical analysis of epileptic seizure in elderly persons

Objective To investigate the clinical features of epileptic seizure in elderly patients to help physicians diagnose and treat the disease.Methods We analysed respectively 33 cases among 187 patients with epileptic seizure,who were treated in hospital,with symptomatic epilepsy and their onset ages over 60.Results The 33 case had the first epileptic seizure,accounting for 17.65%(187 cases were admitted to hospital owing to epileptic seizure at the same time),the majority of the patients were males,the main cause is cerebrovascular diseases(84.85%).13 patients had secondary epilepsy within 2 weeks later after cerebrovascular diseases and total attacks for each were 1 to 3 times,only 4 cases had to take anti epileptic drugs.15 cases had secondary epilepsy 2 weeks later after cerebrovascular diseases,the attacks were frequent,anti epileptic drugs were necessary in all of them.The partial seizures(57.58%) were the main form.Most of the focus was found in cortex during CT or MRI examination(54.55%).Conclusion Epileptic seizure in elderly patients shows its own characteristics.
