医学信息学的现状与未来

医学信息学是研究生物医学信息、数据和知识的存储、检索并有效利用,以便在卫生管理、临床控制和知识分析过程中作出决策和解决问题的科学。它是信息技术学与医疗卫生科学的交叉学科,前者是其方法学,后者是其应用领域。该文通过对医学信息学历史的透视、当前状况和未来面临挑战的分析,探讨了我国医学信息学发展的战略。要使中国的医学信息学的发展尽快与国际接轨,适应现代社会发展的需要,必须加快培养一支医学信息学专业的人才队伍,加强国际和国内合作交流,重点开展一些医学信息学基础的理论和应用研究,建立和完善一系列的相关标准和规范。

The current situation and future of medical informatics

Medical informatics is a science dealing with the storage,retrieval and optimal use of information, data and knowledge of biomedicine so that decisions could be made and problems solved in the process of health management, clinical control and knowledge analysis. It is an interdisciplinary subject involving the sciences of information technology and medical health, the former being its methodology and the latter its sphere of application. By analyzing the history., current situation and future challenges of medical informatics, the paper discusses the development strategies for medical informatics in China. In order to put the development of medical mformafics in China in line with international standards and make it fit in with the needs of modern society, it is imperative to speed up the training of a contingent of personnel in medical informatics, step up international and domestic cooperation and exchanges, give priority to research on the theories and applications of basic medical informatics, and establish and perfect a series of relevant criteria.
