增殖细胞核抗原与下咽癌临床生物学行为及预后的关系

目的通过原位检测下咽癌增殖细胞核抗原(PCNA)及其基因的表达,探讨PCNA与下咽癌生物学特性与临床行为及预后的关系。方法 用免疫组织化学染色SP法检测48例下咽癌手术标本和其中的15例癌旁组织标本PCNA的表达,计算增殖指数,结合临床与随访资料进行分析。结果咽癌组PCNA表达程度明显高于癌旁组(P＜0.001);PCNA指数与癌的临床分期、组织分化程度及预后相关(P＜0.005),而与是否有颈淋巴结转移和肿瘤的发生部位无显著关系(P＜0.05。结论下咽癌PCNA的表达对判断肿瘤恶性程度及预后可能有一定的参考价值。

Correlation of proliferating cell nuclear antigen expression with the clinical and biological characteristics and prognosis of hypopharyngeal carcinoma

Objechve To study the association of proliferating cell nuclear antigen (PCNA) with the biological characteristicsand clinical behavior of hypopharyngcal carcinoma and with the prognosis of the malignancy. Methods SP-immunohisto-chemical method was uscd to detect the expression of PCNA in 48 cancer tissue specimens and 15 specimens of the adjacenttissue of primary hapophaongeal carcinomas. The number of PCNA-positive cells was represented by proliferating index (PI)of the antigen. Results PCNA expression was correlated with the clinical stage, histological grade and clinical recurrence ofhypopharyngeal carcinoma as well as the prognosis of the patients, but was not significantly related with the tumor location orthe presence of metastasis to the cervical Iymph nodes. Conclusion PCNA protein expression may help evaluate the malig-nancy ofhypopharyngeal carcinoma and make prognostic judgement of the patients.
