| Abstract: | A small cluster of choline acetyltransferase (ChAT)-positive neurons was identified immunohistochemically in rat and monkey brain in the ventral portion of the lateral septal nucleus. These multipolar neurons were smaller and much less intensely staining than the medial septal nucleus ChAT-immunopositive group. |
