To emphasize advance practice nurse (APN) interventions including screening, treatment, and outcome evaluations for individuals and their families suffering with alcohol dependence and depression. DATA SOURCES: Scientific literature on alcohol dependence, depression, and their comorbidity as well as general systems theory.
