Abstract:Objective The purpose of this study is to investigate the contamination of arsenic and heavy metals such as lead,cadmium,mercury and arsenic in common food in Linyi from 2017 to 2018. Methods The contents of lead,cadmium,mercury and arsenic in food were determined according to the national standards,and the results were evaluated according to the national standards. Results A total of 575 samples of lead,cadmium,mercury and arsenic were collected for the detection of2 285 items. Lead,cadmium,mercury and arsenic were detected in 114 items,with the total detection rate of 4. 98%. 8 items exceeded the national hygienic standard,with the total over-limit rate of 0. 35%. The over-limit rates were lead,cadmium,mercury and arsenic from high to low in each monitoring item. In all kinds of foods,the detection rates from high to low were observed in tea,legumes,vegetables,fruits,and the rest were not detected. A total of 560 samples were detected,and lead in5 samples exceeded the national hygienic standard,with the total over-limit rate of 0. 89%. The highest over-limit rate was3. 00% for beans. Cadmium was detected in 575 samples,and 3 samples exceeded the national hygienic standard. The over-limit rate was 0. 52%. The highest over-limit rate was 1. 00% for beans. A total of 575 samples of mercury and arsenic were detected,which did not exceed the national hygienic standard. Conclusion The status of heavy metal and arsenic contamination in common food in Linyi is less sever,but a certain degree of residue is detected. Attention should be paid to and supervision should be strengthened in heavy metal contamination.
