| Abstract: | Thyroid diseases and type 2 diabetes mellitus are the two most common endocrine metabolic diseases.Diabetes has an impact on thyroid diseases,and acute or severe diabetes can even induce thyroid crisis;thyroid disease and antithyroid drugs or glucocorticoids in turn affect glucose metabolism,leading to blood glucose fluctuations and even increased cardiovascular risk.Therefore,the conditions of the patients with thyroid disease complicated with type 2 diabetes are more complicated.This review describes the treatments for thyroid diseases with type 2 diabetes including hyperthyroidism,hypothyroidism,thyroiditis,thyroid nodules and thyroid cancer. |
