Clinical Evaluation of Hypertonic Saline Combined with Piracetam in the Treatment of Acute Cerebral Infarction Complicated with Cerebral Hemorrhage

Objective To investigate the clinical efficacy of hypertonic saline combined with piracetam in the treatment of acute cerebral infarction(ACI)complicated with cerebral hemorrhage(CH)and its effect on the levels of serum high mobility group box-1(HMGB-1),insulin-like growth factor-1(IGF-1)and pro-B-type natriuretic peptide(pro-BNP).Methods Totally 98 patients with CH after ACI intravenous thrombolysis admitted to our hospital from April 2016 to April 2019 were selected and divided into the control group and the study group according to the random number table method,49 cases in each group.The patients in the two groups were given piracetam on the basis of conventional treatment,on this basis,the patients in the study group were given hypertonic Saline Injection.Both groups were continuously treated for 2 weeks.Results The total effective rate of the study group was 71.43%,which was significantly higher than 38.78%of the control group(P<0.05).After treatment,the National Institute of Health Stroke Scale(NIHSS)score,HMGB-1 and pro-BNP levels in the two groups were significantly lower than those before treatment,while the Mini-Mental State Examination(MMSE)score and IGF-1 level in the two groups were significantly higher than those before treatment,and the change of the study group was more significant than that of the control group(P<0.05).The intracranial edema volume and hematoma volume in the study group were significantly smaller than those in the control group,and the incidence of adverse reactions in the study group was significantly lower than that in the control group(8.16%vs.26.53%,P<0.05).Conclusion Hypertonic saline combined with piracetam in the treatment of patients with ACI complicated with CH can significantly improve the clinical efficacy,improve the neurological function and cognitive function,levels of HMGB-1 and pro-BNP,and increase the level of IGF-1,which is conducive to the control of the disease and relieve the symptoms of edema and hematoma.
