| Abstract: | Percutaneous tracheotomy is a standard procedure in intensive care units. Even though complications associated with this intervention have been described, acute massive bleeding from the innominate artery is rare and necessitates immediate intervention. We report a case with acute bleeding after removal of a percutaneous tracheotomy cannula. |
