Abstract: | Histologically the early histological findings of the carcinoma of the breast enclose lobular and intraductal carcinoma in situ, and atypical epithelial proliferation. Without mastectomy a considerable percentage of these cases will develop invasive carcinoma. In order to detect these early forms of carcinoma mammography should be carried out. Following this procedure a more precisely located histological examination can be performed. The treatment consists of simple mastectomy. |
