Abstract: | There is increasing emphasis on quality assurance in nuclear medicine instigated, in part, by changing JCAH standards. Our response to this challenge has led to a program combining physician monitoring of 5% and generic monitoring of 100% of nuclear medicine studies. The described approach is reasonable, easily achievable, and improves nuclear medicine care. |
