Clinical Study on Modified Zhenwu Decoction Combined with Mesalazine in the Treatment of Ulcerative Colitis

Objective:To observe the clinical efficacy of modified Zhenwu Decoction combined with mesalazine in the treatment of ulcerative colitis with spleen and kidney yang deficiency.Methods:40 patients with ulcerative colitis due to spleen and kidney yang deficiency were randomly divided into treatment group and control group,20 patients in each group.The control group was treated with conventional treatment plus mesalazine,and the treatment group was combined with Zhenwu Decoction on this basis.The treatment course of the two groups was the same,which was 4 weeks.Results:After treatment,the clinical effective rate of the treatment group was significantly better than the control group(P<0.05);the comparison of TCM syndrome scores and disease activity scores(DAI)before and after treatment between the two groups showed that after treatment,the scores of patients in the two groups were better than those before treatment(P<0.05),and the treatment group was better than the control group after treatment(P<0.05).Serum inflammatory factors were tested.After treatment,serum pro-inflammatory factors(TNF-α,IL-1β)in the treatment group were significantly lower than those in the control group,and antiinflammatory factors(IL-4,IL-10)were significantly higher than those in the control group.Conclusion:Modified Zhenwu Decoction combined with mesalazine can effectively treat ulcerative colitis of spleen and kidney yang deficiency by regulating inflammatory factors,with definite curative effect.
