甲状腺乳头状病变中端粒酶活性的检测

目的：探讨甲状腺乳头状病变中端粒酶活性的变化及其临床意义。方法：采用银染端粒重复序列扩增法，对37例病理诊断为甲状腺乳头状腺癌、乳头状腺瘤、乳头状增生的新鲜甲状腺组织进行了端粒酶活性的定量检测。结果：甲状腺乳头状腺癌组织中端粒酶阳性率为68.8%，乳头状腺瘤组织中为66.7%，乳头状增生的阳性率为50.0%，三者比较差异无显著性（P=0.612,0.370,0.410）。结论：端粒酶活性的定量检测对甲状腺乳头状病变鉴别诊断意义不大。上皮乳头状增生、增生活跃的乳头状瘤与乳头状腺癌可能本身就是一种疾病发展过程中的不同阶段。

DETECTION OF TELOMERASE ACTIVITY IN THYROID PAPILLARY LESIONS

Objective\ To study the telomerase activity and its clinical significance in thyroid papillary lesions. \ Methods A modified semiquantitative polymerase chain reaction based telomeric repeat amplification protocol assay was used to detect telomerase activity in 37 samples obtained at thyroidectomy, including 16 papillary cancers, 15 papillary adenomas and 6 papillary hyperplasia. \ Results\ Positive rate of telomerase was 68.8% for papillary carcinoma, 66.7% for papillary adenoma and 50.0% for papillary hyperplasia. The difference was not significant among the 3 groups.\ Conclusion\ A quantitative detection of telomerase activity is of no significance in differential diagnosis of papillary problems. Papillary hyperplasia of epithelium, actively hyperplastic papilloadenoma and papillary adenocarcinoma may be the different phases in the development of the same problem.
