| Abstract: | Forty-eight monoclonal antibodies (McAbs) were raised against human immunodeficiency virus (HIV-1) lysate and characterized by ELISA, western blot immunohistological stainning .They recognized different HIV-1 structural proteins p55 +
p24p,55+p18, p55 + p24 + 130......, p24, p18, p18 + p27, gpl60+gp120 and gpl60+gpl20+gp41.
It has been demonstrated that the HIV-1 ysate, commerial HIV-1 ELISA kit westrn blot kit was contaminated by the proteins or human T cell line. The experience showed that immunohistological or FACS examination of hybridomas supernatant was necessary to eliminate nonspecific antibodies before the were cloned. |
