城乡老年人便秘现状与不良生活习惯的研究

目的了解城乡老年人便秘现状及其生活习惯的差异。方法对全国26个省(市)60岁以上2 600名城乡老年人进行便秘患病率与生活习惯调查。结果城乡老年人便秘总患病率为37.12%,城市为34.93%,农村为39.04%,农村明显高于城市(P<0.05)。影响因素与其生活习惯有关,如:晨起饮水、一天饮水量、排便习惯等,城乡差异具有统计学意义(P<0.05)。结论老年人便秘患病率高,应引起关注,尤其是农村老年人。

A survey of the prevalence of constipation and lifestyle among elderly people in urban and rural areas

Objective To investigate the current status and differences of the prevalence of constipation and lifestyle among elderly people in urban and rural areas.Method 2 600 elderly people aged over 60 from 26 provinces were sampled and investigated about the prevalence of constipation and life-style.Results The prevalence of constipation was 37.12%.The prevalence in rural areas(39.04%) was higher than that of urban areas(34.93%,P<0.05).There were significant differences interms of constipation related lifestyle,such as habit of morning drinking,mount of drinking,habit of defecation between elderly people in urban and rural areas(P<0.05).Conclusion A high prevalence of constipation was found in elderly people aged over 60.It is suggested that special attention should be paid to them,especially for those inthe countryside.
