大蒜治疗牙本质过敏的临床观察及实验研究

目的评价大蒜治疗牙本质过敏的疗效。方法将82例患者的243颗患牙随机分为2组,对照组(120颗牙)用75%氟化钠甘油局部涂擦,而实验组(123颗牙)用大蒜原汁涂擦,用VAS量表评估根面敏感性,并比较其疗效。另将24个牙本质块分为4组,用50%的枸橼酸处理表面后,对照组用生理盐水涂擦,实验组用大蒜原汁、1∶1大蒜稀释液及1∶10大蒜稀释液涂擦,扫描电镜下观察样本。结果实验组2周后及半年后的疼痛分数均低于对照组(P<0.05),但扫描电镜观察实验组和对照组的牙本质小管封闭情况无明显不同。结论大蒜治疗牙本质过敏有较好的疗效,但不是通过封闭牙本质小管起作用。

Clinical observation and experimental study of effects of treating dentin hypersensitivity by garlic

Objective To evaluate the clinical effects of garlic on treating dentin hypersensitivity.Methods 243 teeth of 82 patients were randomly divided into 2 groups.120 teeth of the control group were dealt with 75% sodium fluoride glycerine to rub,while 123 teeth of the experimental group were dealt with garlic juice to rub.The effects were evaluated with two forms of controlled stimulations(probe and air-blast) as graded by a 10 cm visual analogue scale(VAS).24 dentine specimens with exposed dentine tubular orifices treated with 50% citric acid were divided into 4 groups.The specimens of the control group were rubbed with saline while those of the experimental group were rubbed with garlic juice,1∶1 dilution,1∶10 dilution,respectively.Finally,all the 24 specimens were observed under SEM.Results Clinical effects between experimental and control group were significantly different(P<0.05)at 2 weeks and half a year after treatment(3.43 vs 4.21,3.82 vs 4.45,respectively).However, when it comes to dentine tubules occlusion,there was no difference between the experimental and the control group.Conclusion Garlic is an effective desensitizer,but its mechanism for desensitizing is not through dentine tubules occlusion.
