Reding Motivation and Affecting Mechanism in English Reading of Senior Students

It is a valuable research proposition to focus on the non-intelligent factors that influence the reading effectiveness. As an emotional variable among those factors, readig motivation contains multiple constructs.Through the investigations the developmental characteristic of the secondary students' reading motivations are found. The age and gender factors effect on reading motivations. There is a significant correlation between the multi levels of reading motivations and reading achievement. The positive relationship still exits on the motivation and reading amount, which is dependent on the intrinsic and social motivations, self efficacy.
