中学生英语阅读中的动机问题及其影响机制

摘    要:影响阅读效果的非智力因素是一个值得深入研究的命题。阅读动机作为其中的情绪变量存在多维构成。通过实证调研,揭示了中学生英语阅读动机的发展特点。研究表明,阅读动机存在年龄差异和性别差异,不同层次的动机水平和阅读成绩存在显著相关,阅读动机与阅读时间存在正向关系。内部动机、自我效能与社会性动机可以诱发与维持较长的阅读时间。

Abstract:It is a valuable research proposition to focus on the non-intelligent factors that influence the reading effectiveness. As an emotional variable among those factors, readig motivation contains multiple constructs.Through the investigations the developmental characteristic of the secondary students' reading motivations are found. The age and gender factors effect on reading motivations. There is a significant correlation between the multi levels of reading motivations and reading achievement. The positive relationship still exits on the motivation and reading amount, which is dependent on the intrinsic and social motivations, self efficacy.
