孤束核向面神经核投射的光、电镜观察

采用HRP顺、逆行标记法及神经溃变法,用光、电镜同时观察大白鼠孤束核及其腹侧网状结构区细胞向面神经核的纤维投射。结果表明:孤束核及其腹侧网状结构均向面神经核的中间亚核有定位的纤维投射,前者形成较细终末,后者形成较粗终末。同时观察这些纤维终末与面神经核细胞间的突触关系。井对这些投射的机能进行了讨论。

PROJECTIONS TO THE FACIAL NUCLEUS FROM THE SOLITARY NUCLEUS: A LIGHT AND ELECTRON MICROSCOPIC STUDY IN THE RAT

The projections from the solitary nucleus (NST) to the facial nucleus (FN) were examined in the rat by means of anterograde and retrograde axenal trans-port of wheat germ agglutinin-horseradish peroxidase and anterograde degenera-tion technique. Light microscopic findings confirmed that NST and its ventral reticular formation project to the intermediate subnucleus of the FN. Electron microscopic experiments demonstrated degenerating axosomatic and axcdcndritic terminals in the FN following electrolytic lesions in the NST. The possible functions of these projections in some reflexes are discussed.
