Abstract:Comparative studies of the blood level, tissue distribution, excretion, inactivation, adsorption, metabolic accelerators, and substances having chemical affinity were made for mitomycinC, 5 fluorouracil, bleomycin, actinomycin D, daunomycinand chromomycinA3. Blood level, tissue distribution, excretion, inactivation, etc.of a drug were closely related to eachother; for example, themaximum blood level correlated with the rates of adsorptionor inactivation by tissues. Drugs with different chemical structure but with similar modeof action, such as actinomycin D, daunomycin and chromomycinA3, show acommon body distribution pattern. The mechanism of inactivation sometimes resembled that of activation. Therefore, it wasassumed that the study on inactivation wouldbe useful in clarifying the mode of action of drugs.
