吸烟对动脉粥样硬化的影响及其临床意义

目的观察吸烟对动脉粥样硬化的影响。方法60例高血压病患者,分为吸烟组和对照组,利用二维超声测量双侧颈总脉内膜-中层厚度及斑块数目。结果吸烟组与对照组比较,颈动脉内膜-中层厚度有显著性差异(P<0.01)。斑块数目较对照组增多,有显著性差异(P<0.01)。结论吸烟可使颈动脉内膜-中层厚度增厚,导致动脉粥样硬化。

The Affection and Clinical Significance of Atherosclerosis on Smoking

Objective To observe the affection of smoking on atherosclerosis. Methods The research objects were divided into two groups,smoking group and control group in 60 cases. intima-media thickness and the numbers of plaques were measured in both sides of common carotid arteries by gray-scale imaging.Results There was significant difference between smoking group and control group(P<0.01).The numbers of plaques in the group of smoking was much more than those of the group of control(P<0.01).Conclusions Smoking enlarge intima-media thickness of common carotid arteries and result in progression of atherosclerosis.
