关于新形势下转变高校外语专业人才培养模式的探讨

本文针对普通院校外语专业的培养现状，说明传统的外语专业教育模式在培养方向、专业课程设置、师资队伍知识结构等方面已逐渐远离社会、企事业、涉外机构的经济发展需要。急需把外语专业人才的培养转变成“入世”后需要的既有语言知识又有专业方向知识的复合型、应用型人才。

On Education Model Transformation Of Foreign Language Majors In Institutions Of Higher Learning

Based on the current educational status of foreign language majors in the Institutions of Higher Learning, this paper illustrates that traditional model of foreign language education is no longer adaptable to the social need and the requirement of economic development for enterprises and organizations concerning foreign affairs. With China's entry into WTO, the current education model should be transformed into foreign language graduates with multiple qualifications rather than only a good knowledge of foreign languages.
