Abstract. Leprosy is an infectious disease of prevalence stillhigh in endemic areas in Brazil. The neurological presentationdepends on the involved nerve and is usually associatedwith skin lesions and the formation of multiple abscesses.We present a case of isolated tuberculoid leprosy, discuss theoccurrence, the differential diagnosis and the treatment ofthis rare presentation and reaffirm the importance of consideringleprosy in the differential diagnosis of patients withpolyneuropathy or nerve enlargement with no skin lesions.
