So far, the studies on cell transplantation mainly focus on transplantation of Schwann cells, stem cells, olfactory ensheathing cells, and mesenchymal stem cells. The cell transplantation promotes the regeneration of remyelination of spared axons to some extent. The transplantation develops from one kind of cell to combination of several kinds of cells, and combined transplantation has better efficacy. In addition, some factors affected normal growth of cells, such as reaction of environment and molecular, may provide beneficial inspiration on cell transplantation for repair of spinal core injury.
