P16蛋白在鼻咽癌中的表达及意义

目的通过测定鼻咽癌组织中P16蛋白的表达情况,探讨P16抑癌基因异常或失活与鼻咽癌发生的关系。方法 应用S-P免疫组化技术,检测90例鼻咽癌组织中P16蛋白的表达情况,以慢性鼻咽粘膜炎症标本80份作为对照分析。结果 90例鼻咽癌组织中P16蛋白表达阴性68例,阴性率为75.56％(68/90);对照组80鼻咽炎症组织的P16蛋白表达阴性13例,阴性率为16.25％(13/80),两组比较差异有高度显著性(x2=59.717,P<0.01)。结论 抑癌基因P16失活或P16蛋白低表达与鼻咽癌的发生、发展有关系。

The expression and significance of protein p16 in nasopharyngeal carcinoma

Objective To investigate the relationship between the inactivation or abnormality of suppressor gene p16 and the development of nasopharygeal carcinoma (NPC) by detection protein p16 in nasopharyngeal carcinoma. Methods The expression of protein p16 in the tissues of 90 cases of NPC were examined by S - P immunohis-tochemical method, and 80 cases of nasopharyngeal mucosa inflammation were tested for comparison. The results were statistically analyzed by chi - square (x2) test. Results The negative rate of protein p16 was 75.56% (68/ 90) in 90 patients with NPC, and it was 16.25% (13/80) in nasopharygeal mucosa inflammation group. In comparison of the negative rate between these two groups, the difference was significant (x2 = 59.717, P <0.01). Conclusion The inactivation of suppressor gene p!6 or low expression of protein p16 was associated with the progression of NPC.
