Application of Partial Acupuncture Combined with Bobath Technique in the Treatment of Stroke Patients with Hemiplegia

Objective To explore the rehabilitation effect of partial acupuncture combined with Bobath technique on stroke patients with hemiplegia.Methods From October 2018 to December 2020,146 stroke patients with hemiplegia who were admitted to the First People′s Hospital of Pingdingshan City were selected and divided into control group and observation group according to the random number table method,with 73 cases in each group.Both groups of patients were given conventional treatments such as blood pressure control,anticoagulation,antiplatelet aggregation,and neurotrophic treatment.On this basis,the control group was given Bobath technique,and the observation group was given hemiplegia staged acupuncture combined with Bobath technique.Both groups were treated continuously for 30 days,the rehabilitation efficacy and the degree of neurological impairment(the national institutes of health stroke scale,NIHSS)score,the simplified Fugl-Meyer assessment(Fugl-Meyer assessment,FMA)score,the Modified Barthel Index(MBI)score,Functional independence measure(FIM)score before and after treatment were compared between the two groups.Results A After treatment,the total effective rate of the observation group was 93.15%(68/73)higher than that of the control group,80.82%(59/73),with a statistically significant difference(P<0.05).After treatment,the NIHSS scores of the two groups of patients were decreased compared with those before treatment,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment,the FMA scores of upper and lower extremities in the two groups were increased compared with those before treatment,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment,the MBI and FIM scores of the two groups were increased compared with those before treatment,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Acupuncture combined with Bobath technique in stages can effectively improve the motor function ofstroke patients with hemiplegia,improve their quality of life,and has a significant rehabilitation effect,which is worthy of clinical application.
