皮肤涂抹海群生油剂治疗家猫丝虫病的疗效

摘    要:家猫后腿每只接种50条马来丝虫感染期幼虫,感染后1~3周将家猫后腿剃毛涂抹5%海群生油剂1或5次,涂抹后3周将家猫处死,剖验后腿淋巴系统,检查药物对丝虫的作用,并计数存活丝虫的数量。发现多数丝虫于接近腘窝淋巴腺之曲张淋巴管内,对照组每条猫后腿查到活丝虫16~35条,平均22.7条,治疗组每条猫后腿平均虫数0.1~2.5条。海群生对丝虫第3期幼虫杀灭能力大于第4期幼虫,甚至一次涂抹药物可杀死猫体内全部第3期幼虫。

OBSERVATION OF THE EFFICACY OF TRANSEPIDERMAL APPLICATION OF HETRAZAN TO BRUGIA MALAYI INFECTED CATS

Abstract:Cats were infected with Brugia malayi by administering 50 infective larvae to puncture wounds on volar surface of hind feet. Five percent DEC (diethylcarbamazine) in mineral oil was applied transepidermally at one week and three weeks after infection on the left hind foot of the cat. The cats were necropsied three weeks after the application of DEC. The number and location of the worms were recorded. The popliteal lymph node and lymphatic vessels from foot to popliteal node were examined carefully under the stereoscopic microscope. In the control group 32-70% of the larvae innoculated were recovered moving actively in the dilated and tortuous iymphatic vessels close to the popliteal node. The mean no.of worm per leg in the control group was 22.7 (range 16-35). In the DEC treated group (a) 5% DEC oil applied one week after infection, only one worm was recovered in a cat and no worm recovered in the other 4 cats.The mean no. of worm Per leg was 0.1 (range 0-1). In the treated group (b), 5 ?C oil applied 3 weeks after infection, total of 30 worms were recovered from 6 cats at necropsy. The mean no. of worm Per leg was 2.5 (range 0-10). Both 3rd and 4th stage of filarial larvae were killed by the application of 5?C in mineral oil to skin of cat's hind leg. The 3rd stage larva was found to be more sensitive to DEC than the 4th stage. Topical application of DEC in mineral oil appears to be effective and convenient in killing developing Brugiaau malayi in cats.
