The effect of Perioperative Nursing Care for Elderly Patients with Diabetes Undergoing Laparoscopic Radical Resection of Rectal Cancer

Objective To compare and analyze the perioperative nursing experience of elderly patients with diabetes who underwent laparoscopic radical resection of rectal cancer.Methods Sixty elderly patients with diabetes who underwent laparoscopic radical resection of rectal cancer in the hospital from January to December 2019 were selected as the research objects.They were divided into a control group and an observation group with equal number of cases according to a random number table,carrying out perioperative routine nursing measures and perioperative comprehensive nursing intervention respectively,and conducted a comparative study of nursing effects.Results Compared the incidence of postoperative complications between the two groups,the observation group was lower than the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05);compared with the control group,the observation group had a significant advantage in improving the blood glucose level,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05);compared with the control group,the negative emotion score of the observation group was significantly lower,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Compared with the control group,the observation group had a significantly higher quality of life score,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion For elderly diabet ic patients undergoing laparoscopic radical resection of rectal cancer,the implementation of comprehensive nursing interventions can reduce postoperative complications and reasonably control blood glucose indicators,which is of positive significance for improving the quality of life of patients.
