Analysis of the Effect of Combined Spinal-epidural Anesthesia on the Anesthesia Treatment of Diabetic Pregnant Women during Cesarean Section

Objective To explore the effect of combined spinal-epidural anesthesia for diabetic pregnant women during cesarean section.Methods The 62 pregnant women with diabetes who were admitted to our hospital from October 2018 to February 2020 were divided into groups by lottery.The 62 pregnant women were divided into the experimental group and the control group.Each group of 31 pregnant women,those who were treated with general anesthesia as the control group,31 pregnant women with combined spinal-epidural anesthesia were used as the experimental group,and the anesthesia effect,related indicators,incidence of adverse reactions,and blood sugar levels of the pregnant women in the experimental group were compared with those in the control group.Results There was a significant difference in the excellent and good rate of anesthesia among pregnant women in the experimental group and the control group.The excellent and good rate of anesthesia in the experimental group was higher,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The pregnant women in the experimental group had shorter drug usage,anesthesia onset time,and newborn delivery time than those in the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The incidence of adverse reactions in pregnant women in the experimental group was significantly different from that in the control group.The incidence of adverse reactions in pregnant women in the experimental group was lower,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The fasting blood glucose and 2h postprandial blood glucose levels of pregnant women in the experimental group were lower than those in the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion The effect of combined spinal-epidural anesthesia in cesarean section for pregnant women with diabetes is more significant.It can effectively shorten the time of onset of anesthesia for pregnant women,the time of newborn delivery,reduce the amount of anesthetics used,and have high safety.
