The Detection Results and Significance of Glycosylated Hemoglobin in Diabetic Patients

Objective To explore the test results and significance of glycosylated hemoglobin in diabetic patients.Methods 79 diabetic patients admitted to the hospital from January to December 2019 were selected as the study group,and 79 healthy people during the same period were selected as the control group.The results of the two groups of glycosylated hemoglobin were compared to understand the glycosylated hemoglobin and fasting blood glucose,relationship between the ratio of glycated hemoglobin and the occurrence of complications.Results 1.The fasting blood glucose,the two-hour postprandial blood glucose,and glycosylated hemoglobin of the study group were higher than those of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).2.In the study group,the relationship between fasting blood glucose and glycosylated hemoglobin:among the 3 patients with blood glucose<6.1 mmol/L,only 1 case(33.33%)with abnormal glycosylated hemoglobin,and 9 patients with blood glucose concentration between 6.1-7.0 mmol/L,5 cases(55.56%)were abnormal in glycosylated hemoglobin.Among 67 patients with blood glucose>7.0 mmol/L,67 had abnormal glycosylated hemoglobin,accounting for 100.00%.3.In the study group,the relationship between glycosylated hemoglobin and complications:1 out of 9 patients with a detection level of<6.5% had complications,the incidence was 11.11%;the detection level was between 6.5% and 9% in 31 patients,complications occurred in 14 cases,with an incidence rate of 45.16%,there were 26 complications in 39 patients with a detection level greater than 9%,with an incidence rate of 66.67%,suggesting that as the level of glycosylated hemoglobin increased,the incidence of complications in diabetic patients increased significantly(P<0.05).Conclusion The application value of glycosylated hemoglobin screening and diagnosis of diabetes is significant.It can objectively provide patients with blood glucose-related information and has a positive correlation with complications.It can help clinical diabetic patients with treatment and management,and is worthy of clinical application.
