直线加速器离子泵恢复装置的研制

摘    要:通过研制一种离子泵恢复装置,可以使损坏的离子泵重新恢复工作,避免因更换离子泵引起直线加速器真空系统的破坏。离子泵恢复器的设计思路是在真空检测单元的监控下借助支架敲击离子泵泵体,震落造成阴极和阳极之间短路的杂质,同时在阴极和阳极之间接通高压6kV直流电压,将杂质通过潘宁放电消除,从而使离子泵恢复工作。以5次离子泵损坏故障维修为实验,结果显示使用离子泵恢复装置后,4个离子泵能够达到直线加速器真空系统真空度-5.8Torr(1Torr=133.322Pa)以上的工作要求,恢复合格率达到80%,证明该装置具有实际效果。

Abstract:Through developing a restoration device, we can resume the defective ion pump without damaging the vacuum system,within a shorter period. The ion pump restorer was designed under the following ideas. With the aid of a bracket the ion pump body was firstly rapped under the vacuum detecting element monitoring, so that the impurity between negative pole and anode, which could create short-circuits, was shaken off,Meanwhile a 6 kilovolt DC voltages between negative pole and anode was applied to discharges the impurity through Pan eliminates,that resume the ion pump to work. In the experiments of 5 times service,four incidents of the ion pump break-down were solved by restorer and the accelerator could reach its standard operating vacuum degree - 5.8 Torr. The success rate of 80% indicated the restorer was effective pratically.
