生长抑制特异性基因研究进展

摘    要:生长抑制特异性基因是指培养过程中血清饥饿或细胞接触抑制时表达上调的基因。生长抑制特异性基因编码的蛋白产物包括Gas1、Gas2、Gas3……Gas11等。这些蛋白具有不同的功能,如调控微丝组装、神经细胞生长或分化、凋亡、酪氨酸激酶受体活性以及正或负调控细胞周期。gas基因间没有序列同源性或一致的结构特征。本文就目前已报道的gas基因的研究进展进行概述。

Abstract:Growth arrest-specific (gas) genes are expressed preferentially in cultured cells that enter a quiescent state following serum deprivation or growth to confluence. Protein products of gas gene including Gasl, Gas2, Gas3……Gas11. Individual gas genes have been implicated in a variety of biological functions, including the control of microfilament organization, nerve cell growth or differentiation, apoptosis, tyrosine kinase receptor activity, and the negative and positive control of cell cycling. No sequence similarity or common structural features have been found among the gas genes identified so far. This review elucidates the research advance and function of each gas gene.
