| Abstract: | This article investigates geographic disparities in the location of mental health providers in relation to population demographics. Associations between provider-to-population ratios and demographics were examined with density calculations and map algebra. This disparity in geospatial availability of specialists may constitute an important barrier for persons seeking mental health care. |
