Treatment of Functional Dyspepsia

Functional dyspepsia represents one of the important GI disorders because of its remarkably high prevalence in general population and its impact on quality of life. Although great advance has been achieved with the consensus definitions of the Rome criteria, the patient with functional dyspepsia presents with multiple symptoms. Though view of the data, we try to offer a therapeutic alternative in the treatment of FD which is often favored by both patients and physicians. In general, the approach to treat patients with functional dyspepsia based on their main symptom is practical and effective.
