摘    要:研究了经口慢性给予钒酸钠对糖尿病大鼠组织自由基防御机制的影响。钒酸钠放入佳水中,浓度分别为0.1mg/ml和0.2mg/ml.共饮用5周。研究结果表明,钒酸钠处理对糖尿病大鼠肝脏还原型谷胱甘肽(GSH)含量和肾脏超氧化物歧化酶(SOD)活性无明显影响。钒酸钠处理可使糖尿病大鼠肾脏谷胱甘肽过氧化物酶(GSH—px)活性下降,肾脏脂质过氧化物(LPO)含量上升,使上述二者比值(GSH—px/LPO)降低。这种现象在应用高剂量钒酸钠(0.2mg/ml)更明显。研究结果提示,在应用钒酸盐治疗糖尿病时应采用最低有效剂量,并应考虑伍用对抗钒酸盐过氧化作用的措施。

Abstract:In the present study , we examined the effects of oral vanadate administration on free radical tissue defense mechanism in streptozotocin-induced diabetic rats and their corresponding controls. Low (0.1mg/ml) and high (0. 2mg/ml) concentrations of sodium orthovanadate (V) were administered ad libitum in the drinking water for 5 weeks. V-treatment in the diabetic rats did not significantly affect hepatic glutathione content and renal superoxide dismutase activity as compared to their controls. Oral administration of V in the diabetic animals lowered renal glutathione peroxi-dase (GSH-px) activity, increased renal lipid peroxide (LPO) level and reduced GSH-px/LPO ratio of kidney. These changes were more obvious in high than in low concentration of V. These findings suggest that lower concentration of vanadate is desirable in treatment of diabetes.
