摘 要: | 目的:探讨Galectin-3蛋白及mRNA在食管鳞状细胞癌(ESCC)组织中的表达及其意义。方法:应用免疫组化及原位杂交方法检测50例ESCC、19例癌旁不典型增生组织及50例正常食管黏膜组织中Galectin-3蛋白及mRNA的表达。结果:ESCC、癌旁不典型增生组织及正常黏膜组织中Galectin-3蛋白的阳性表达率依次降低,分别为72.0%(36/50)、47.4%(9/19)和24.0%(12/50),组间比较差异有统计学意义(P<0.05); ESCC、癌旁不典型增生组织及正常黏膜组织中Galectin-3 mRNA的阳性表达率依次降低,分别为66.0%(33/50)、31.6%(6/19)和20.0%(10/50),组间比较差异有统计学意义(P<0.05);Galectin-3蛋白及mRNA的表达均与ESCC的组织分级、淋巴结转移密切相关(P<0.05)。结论:Galectin-3蛋白及mRNA表达与ESCC的发生、发展和转移密切相关,联合检测Galectin-3蛋白及mRNA表达可望成为ESCC早期诊断和预后判断的分子指标之一。

Abstract: | Abstract Aim: To explore the expression of Galectin-3 protein and mRNA in esophageal squamous cell carcinoma tisuss (ESCC) and its significance. Methods: The expression of Galectin-3 protein and mRNA was detected by immunohistochemistry and in situ hubridyzation methods in 50 cases of ESCC tissue , 19 cases of adjacent atypical hyperplasia epithelium and 50 cases of normal esophageal epithelium.Results:The expression rates of Galectin-3 protein decreased by turns in carcinoma ,adjacent atypical hyperplasia epithelium and normal esophageal epithelium specimens which were 72.0%(36/50),47.4%(9/19) and 24.0%(12/50)respectively.There was a significant statistic difference among the groups(P<0.05). The expression rates of Galectin-3 mRNA decreased by turns in carcinoma ,adjacent atypical hyperplasia epithelium and normal esophageal epithelium specimens which were 66.0%(33/50), 31.6%(6/19) and 20.0%(10/50) respectively.There was a significant statistic difference among the groups(P<0.05). The expression of Galectin-3 protein and mRNA were closely correlated with the tumor grade and lymphatic metastasis in ESCC tiissue(P<0.05).Conclusion: The expression of Galectin-3 protein and mRNA might play important roles in the infiltration, metastasis and carcinogenesis of ESCC. United examining Galectin-3 protein and mRNA can become one of molecular index in the early diagnosis and prognostic judgement of ESCC. |
