COX-2及其抑制剂与眼部血管发生

血管发生在许多疾病的发生、发展中发挥重要作用,如肿瘤、慢性炎症疾病、糖尿病视网膜病等.最新研究证实由环氧合酶-2(COX-2)催化产生的前列腺素类物质可促进促血管形成因子的表达,并且通过抑制COX-2能够抑制新生血管的产生和促血管形成因子的表达,例如血管内皮生长因子、成纤维细胞生长因子等.提示靶向COX-2抑制剂可能用于抗血管发生的治疗.本文对COX-2及其抑制剂与眼部血管发生的关系做一综述.

THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN COX-2 & COX-2 INHIBITOR AND ANGIOGENESIS OF EYE

Angiogenesis plays an important role in the occurrence and development of many disorders,including tumour,chronic inflammatory diseases and retinopathies.Recent research demonstrates that the prostaglandins produced by cyclooxygenase-2(COX-2) catalytic reaction promote the expression of pro-angiogenic factors.Furthermore,inhibition of COX-2 leads to inhibition of angiogenesis and downregulated expression of production of pro-angiogenic factors,such as vascular endothelial growth factor and basic fibroblast growth factor.These findings suggest that COX enzymes could be important therapeutic targets in the treatment of pathological angiogenesis.This essay is to summerize the relationship between COX-2 & COX-2 inhibitor and angiogenesis of eye.
