The problems and countermeasures in new nurses in psychiatric department

Objective To standardize the training for new nurses,in order to train qualified psychiatric nurses competent for the modern psychiatric nursing.Methods The countermeasures were established aimed to the problems in new nurses,which including:strengthening the education of nurses' professional faith to improve their diathesis;providing pre-post training to improve their ideas;strengthening clinical guiding to train their specialty techniques;training their communication skills;taking strict examination;providing continuing education on post.Result As a result,the new nurses'diathesis and ability of specialty nursing have been improved,which enabled them to be the main force in clinical nursing work soon.Conclusion Paying close attention and strengthening pre-post and on post education and the training of professional diathesis for the new nurses was essential to train qualified psychiatric nurses competent for the modern psychiatric nursing.
