p14ARF蛋白在人脑胶质瘤中的缺失及其临床意义

目的　研究人脑胶质瘤中p14ARF蛋白的缺失情况及其与临床病理的关系。方法　采用链霉菌素 生物素 (SP)免疫组织化学法对 5 5例脑胶质瘤标本进行分析。结果　在 5 5例人脑胶质瘤标本中p14ARF缺失率为 5 0 .9%。I级 II级病例p14ARF缺失率为 32 % ,III级 IV级病例p14ARF缺失率为 6 6 .7% (P <0 .0 5 )。结论　p14ARF蛋白缺失与脑胶质瘤的发生发展有一定的相关性 ,提示p14ARF基因的失活可能是脑胶质瘤恶性演变的重要因素。

The deletion of p14ARF protein in human gliomas and its significance

Objective To investigate the deletion of p14ARF and its relation with clincial pathology. Method The expression of p14ARF was studied in 55 cases of glioma using streptavidin peroxidase (SP) immunohistochemical method. Results The percentage of p14ARF deletion in glioma of grade I II and those of grade III IV were 32% and 66.7%, respectively ( P <0.05). Conclusion The loss of p14ARF protein is significantly correlated with the pathologic grading of the glioma. Hence it may be an important factor of carcinogenesis and development of glioma.
