| Abstract: | The effect of passively administered IgM and IgG homologous antibodies on IgM and IgG antibodies forming was studied. 3 groups of 24 inbred mice (C57 BL/6) were injected intraperitoneally with low doses of SRBC (as a control) or SRBC-anti-SRBC (IgM or IgG). PFC and IPFC were assayed on day 4 and day 10. The IgM antibody enhanced PFC on day 4, and IgG antibody enhanced IPFC on day 10. It is proposed that antibodies can induce the production of the antibodies Of the same specificity and the same immunoglobulin class. |
