8-iso-prostaglandin F2α (8-iso-PGF2α) which is a specific product of the lipid peroxidation,is an index to appraise the oxidative stress and lipid peroxidization ideal biology target. Obstructive sleep apnea-hypopnea syndrome(OSAHS) is a common disease of disordered breathing, with higher risk of developing hypertention. Studies show that 8-iso-PGF2α, can be not only as an evaluation of OSAHS patients with oxidative stress in a sensitive indicator, also may be a predictor of hypertension in OSAHS patients.
