| Abstract: | A novel flavonoid, pinocembrin-7-O-3'-O-galloyl-4',6'-hexahydroxydiphenoyl]-β-glucose (1) was isolated from the whole plant of Penthorum chinense P., along with four known compounds, pinocembrin-7-O-β-glucoside, quercitrin, quercetin-3-O-rhamnoside and gallic acid. The structures were established by spectroscopic analysis. |
