| Abstract: | We report a 19-year-old man with thrombosis of the portal vein associated with a nephrotic syndrome. A computed tomography showed obstruction of the portal vein with prominent collaterals and cavernous transformation. This case is noteworthy as a report of nephrotic syndrome accompanied by extensive abdominal venous thrombosis and was cured successfully. |
