THE LYMPHATIC DRAINAGE OF UTERINE TUBES

The lymphatic drainage of the uterine tubes and the relationship between lymphatic vessels and uterine tubes and ovary in 32 corpus of infants were studied by indirect injection of polygenetic dyes into the lymphatics. The findings are as follows: The collect lymph vessels of the uterine tubes pass mainly along the ovarian blood vessels and drain into the lumbar lyinph nodes. In 30 cases (47%), 1-2 lymph vessels emerge from the uterine tubes and reach the pelvic wall through the broad ligament of uterus and terminate in the external iliac lymph nodes, internal iliac lymph nodes and common iliac lymph nodes. In 27 cases (42%), 1-2 subserous lymph vessels of uterine tubes are connected with those of the fundus of the uterus and run along the round ligament of the uterus, but they don't enter the regional lymph nodes. The lymphatic vessels of the uterine tubes and the ovary met in the subovarian plexus.
