Abstract:Objective To observe the clinical effect of case teaching method in neurosurgery teaching practice.Methods 35 students from Neurosurgery Class 1 of Grade 2018 were selected as the control group,and 35 students from Neurosurgery Class 1 of Grade 2019 were selected as the experimental group.Routine teaching guidance was given to the control group,while case teaching was carried out in the experimental group to compare students’ performance and their satisfaction with teaching.Results The academic performance of the experimental group was significantly better than that of the control group(P<0.05).The theoretical performance and practical skills of the experimental group were(91.36±1.25) points and(93.12±5.85) points respectively,and the theoretical performance and practical skills of the control group were(72.85±3.58) points and(76.21±1.12) points,and the evaluation of students’ satisfaction with practical teaching in the experimental group was significantly better than that in the control group(P<0.05).The total satisfaction of the experimental group was 97.14% and that of the control group was 80.00%.Conclusion The study proves that the case teaching method has a significant effect in the teaching and guidance of neurosurgery,and can meet the needs of clinical teaching implementation,so it can be promoted to clinical practice.
