Application of Standardized Patients Combined Scenario Simulation Teaching Method in Clinical Teaching of Obstetrics and Gynecology

Objective To explore the application and effect of Standardized Patients combined with Scenario Simulation Teaching Method in clinical practice teaching of obstetrics and gynecology.Methods A total of 124 clinical medical undergraduates who were internships in our hospital from January 2018 to December 2019 were selected and divided into observation group and control group according to the year of practice.The control group implemented the traditional practice teaching method,and the observation group implemented the Standardized Patients combined with Scenario Simulation Teaching Method.Observe the indicators of the two groups of teaching effects.Results The observation group who implemented the Standardized Patients combined with Scenario Simulation Teaching Method had obvious advantages over the control group in terms of theoretical knowledge and operational skill scores(P<0.05).The observation group’s satisfaction with the teaching form reached 100%,and the parameters of selfevaluated learning effect were significantly better than those of the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion The Standardized Patients combined with Scenario Simulation Teaching Method is a novel teaching method of clinical practice teaching in obstetrics and gynecology,which can cultivate the clinical practice ability and comprehensive ability of interns in limited resources and limited time.
